After a quick Google search for ‘electrician Melbourne‘, Jovan called Metropolitan Electrical Contractors because his light switches had stopped working. The call centre advised him that they could have an electrician to his door within the hour which he was pleased with.

Upon arrival one hour later, the electrician arrived and inspected the suspect light switch. Shortly after, he confirmed that the light switch had tripped the wall outlet and needed replacing.

Luckily for Jovan, Metropolitan electricians attend all jobs with a fully stocked van so the job was able to be completed on the spot. And just like that, one hour later, the wall outlet had been replaced and the customer had illumination once again.

A light switch is inexpensive and has small parts entirely contained inside a plastic casing, so if the switch is bad the best option is to replace it. All electrical work must be completed by a licensed electrician so, in this instance, Jovan did the correct thing.
